Dear Chamber Member,
It's time for another exciting day at the park. Some changes this year
include new highlights in the sponsorship levels and new times for the
day of the event. This year the event will close two hours earlier,
10am - 6pm. We are keeping the entertainment venue to attract
additional visitors to the event. Once again, businesses will be
allowed to sell their wares from their booths. The items sold must be
kept to what your business generally sells and that all items must be
contained inside the tent. As in the past with fairness to the Food
Booth participants, we are asking that NO food or drink be given away
or sold at your booth. This is being done in hopes that more Chamber
members participate. Businesses are asked to maintain their booths
until 6:00 p.m. Volunteers will be able to help with your set up, and
take down, upon availability. This will be a sensational opportunity to
showcase your business in a fun-filled atmosphere.
All booths are covered and backdrops on three
sides which enables us to have the event, rain or shine. Your fee also
includes one 8' table and two chairs. Add ional tables and chairs are
available at a minimal charge. There is a limit of one booth per
business but we will take requests for additional space should it be
available. Reservations always fill up quickly and are only open to
Granby Chamber of Commerce members in good standing, so if you have not
sent in your check for 2008 dues, don't delay! This event is held to
promote Chamber businesses, please note that if you choose to share
space in your booth, all participants must be Chamber Members, even if
you are paying the entire fee.
We hope each of you will consider a level of
sponsorship for this event and have included some new opportunities to
better promote your presence in the community. Your sponsorship allows
this event to continue and we will recognize your generous support in
numerous advertising formats.
On Thursday, June 11th, 2009, The Hartford Courant will publish a special supplement in the paper highlighting "CELEBRATE GRANBY".
